Hi, I'm Marissa - your Body & Mindset Coach, and over 5 days we will delve deeper into:

I've created the Self Series as a space to explore 5 things which may be showing up in our lives. 5 areas where, if we take the time to really look at them and question them, we can start feeling better about ourselves, calmer and happier more often.

By the end of this FREE mini-course, we will have looked at what part Self-Sacrifice, Self-Sabotage, Self-Care, Self Love and Self-Awareness have to play in your life and how they are impacting it. You'll get practical tools to start exploring these ideas and what can be used to improve the areas where you feel frustrated or stuck. 

The course will be live-streamed across Facebook and Instagram with limited-time access to video replays.

How the course is broken down:

 

Day 1 = Self Sacrifice 

You are the 'go-to' person.  The one they can rely on.
The one who describes everything as 'Fine' or 'Not a problem'. The one that never says 'No', who has a willing smile and agreeable nod consistently activated. They love you for it. So reliable, so generous with time and resources.

So what?
You become the tired one. The drained one. The one who feels taken for granted, unappreciated. A resentment begins to form but you continue to say 'Yes', to give, to be drained.

Here we will explore how to identify when we are Self-Sacrificing, the negative impact it can have on our lives and what we can do to free ourselves from it.

Day 2 = Self Sabotage 

This time will be different.

You will only attract positive relationships, keep the weight off, be more assertive, achieve that dream.
You start off motivated, excited and full of hope. The first few days are easy, why didn’t you make the change before?!
But then, the old habits start to creep in, you begin to doubt yourself and, before you know it, you’re back where you started.

Unhappy and disappointed with yourself...but then, deep down you expected to fail anyway...
Why do we do it to ourselves?

We will get clear on what Self-Sabotage is, recognise how it shows up in our lives and what needs to change for us to break from its cycle.

Day 3 = Self Care  

How much do you care?
For yourself?
Really care?
Every time that you take a moment for yourself are you quickly filled with guilt that you should have given that time, energy, resource to somebody else? Does the thought of putting yourself at the top of your priority-list make you feel selfish and deeply uncomfortable?


On Day 3 we will look at what true Self-Care is, how we can apply it to our lives without feeling guilty and the benefits of doing so.

Day 4 = Self Love 

I love you.

When was the last time you said this to yourself? Does the thought of it make you immediately cringe?
The idea of loving yourself can feel so far removed from where you currently are, completely unrealistic. Even considering it can make us feel arrogant and selfish. Other people need our love much more than we do, right?...Or do they? Why are we so quick to dismiss or even completely forget ourselves when it comes to being deserving of our love?

We're going deep with this one - why we can feel uncomfortable at the thought of loving ourselves and the damage we are doing by avoiding it. On Day 4 we will explore how to take the first steps towards feeling like we deserve our own Love.

Day 5 = Self Awareness

Self-Awareness is a superpower.

When does the course take place?

The course will take place every day during #wishingonlyloveweek (8th-12th February 2021). Join me live on Instagram and on Facebook at 1.30pm - 2pm GMT for open discussion, useful tools and real life examples. Catch up videos will be made available if you can't attend live sessions.

How much does it cost?

The Self Series is absolutely FREE! All you need to invest is your time - around 30 minutes for 5 days - to watch the training.

What can I expect from this course?

What if I can’t make all of the live sessions?

To be able to interact with Marissa and the community in real-time, it's highly recommended that you join the Facebook or Instagram Live stream. However, a replay video will also be made available after each session.

I don't use social media, can I still join the course?

Absolutely! Social media isn't for everyone and you may feel more comfortable doing the course in your own time and space. Everyone who signs up will have access to the course content for a limited period of time after the live sessions have taken place. The links for this will be sent out via email.
